Verniotte is the culmination of 10 years hard work and patience. The realisation of a dream to one day own a little piece of the superb terroir this appellation has to offer. To work the land and vines, harvest my crop and produce a wine that has identity and a sense of place. We now have 4.2 hectares of Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines that range from 10 – 40 yrs. With 7 vineyard sites spread across different soils, aspect and age we get a wide variety of styles that when blended give a complex and thought provoking wine.

Our 200 sq metre winery is small but well equipped to receive and process our fruit. Rigorous sorting and delicate handling means we conserve the berry structure and can ferment with control and precision. Temperature controlled stainless steel tanks allow cold maceration and well monitored fermentation for extraction.

With hard work and Mother Nature on our side and we can produce quality year after year, adding some vintage variation to keep us on our toes and give each wine a unique character. We are but a small estate in the biggest fine wine-growing region of the world, Bordeaux. But it is our little piece and we are very proud of what we’ve done in such a short period of time. So please come a visit!
